Junji Nitasaka (trade name: Amami, "we") handles the personal information of users of the vacant-home trial-stay and purchase-consultation platform "AkiyaWay" ("the Service") appropriately, in accordance with the policy below.

The Service is operated by Junji Nitasaka (trade name: Amami). The operator serves as the person responsible for the handling of personal information.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information to the extent necessary to provide the Service.
- Information you enter when registering an account, such as your name and email address
- The content of trial-stay bookings, purchase consultations, and inquiries
- Information related to Trial Stay Gear Pack orders and payments (payments are processed by Stripe; we do not retain credit card numbers)

3. Purposes of Use
We use collected personal information within the scope of the following purposes.
- Identity verification, member management, and provision of the Service
- Responding to and communicating about trial-stay bookings, purchase consultations, and inquiries
- Selling, shipping, settling payments for, and providing after-sales support for Trial Stay Gear Packs
- Improving the Service, developing new features, and analyzing usage
- Responding to obligations under applicable laws
4. Restriction on Provision to Third Parties
Except in any of the following cases, we do not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the individual's prior consent.

- Where necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent
- Where contact details are shared with relevant parties such as listing owners to the extent necessary to realize a trial stay or purchase consultation (limited to the scope of that purpose)
5. Outsourcing
To the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use, we may outsource operations such as payment processing (Stripe), cloud infrastructure, and smart-lock access management to external providers. We require such providers to manage personal information appropriately.
6. Security Management
To prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, we implement reasonable security measures such as encryption of communications (TLS), access controls, and hashing of passwords.
7. Cookies & Analytics
The Service may use cookies and access analytics to understand usage and improve the Service. These do not by themselves directly identify individuals. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may become unavailable as a result.
8. Disclosure, Correction & Suspension of Use
Upon request by the individual, we respond to requests for disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, and suspension of use of retained personal data. Please contact our inquiry desk below. After verifying identity, we respond without delay in accordance with the law.
9. Retention Period
We retain personal information only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use and for any period required by law, and we appropriately delete information that is no longer needed.
